Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition Strategy:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract skilled professionals across various disciplines within the gold mining industry.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and create targeted recruitment plans.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor practices to ensure a competitive edge in talent acquisition.
  2. Candidate Sourcing and Engagement:
    • Utilize various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks, to identify and engage top-tier candidates.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
    • Foster positive candidate experiences through effective communication and timely feedback.
  3. Interviewing and Assessment:
    • Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates’ skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
    • Collaborate with hiring teams to develop and implement effective assessment tools and methodologies.
    • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to hiring managers to support informed decision-making.
  4. Employer Branding and Networking:
    • Promote the employer brand to attract and retain top talent, highlighting the unique opportunities and benefits of working in our gold mining operation.
  5. Collaboration with Stakeholders:
    • Work closely with HR partners, hiring managers, and department heads to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
    • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and contribute to strategic workforce planning discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ideally has experience as a recruiter in the mining industry, with a focus on gold mining operations.
  • Familiarity with the unique skills and qualifications required for various roles in the mining sector.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and talent assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.
