Administrative Assistant
Turner Staffing Group is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support drilling and operations teams at an active mine site. This is a 6–9 month project-based role supporting critical operational activities and working closely with geology, operations, and drilling teams.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and coordination, and wants to play a key role in supporting field operations and project execution.
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting daily operations through data coordination, administrative support, and financial tracking related to drilling and site activities. This role serves as a key liaison between field teams, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and accurate reporting.
You will be at the center of operations—helping track data, manage documentation, and support multiple stakeholders across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily communication with field supervisors and contractors
- Track and manage operational data, reporting, and documentation
- Create purchase requisitions and track purchase orders
- Perform invoice reconciliation and cost tracking
- Monitor budgets, costs, and operational metrics
- Maintain organized files, records, and documentation systems
- Assist with development and management of SOPs and document control
- Support cost comparisons and reporting across operational activities
- Assist project teams with reporting, accruals, and project closeout
- Coordinate meetings, maintain schedules, and track action items
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, safety, and finance
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with general administrative or office procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated reliability, performance, and attendance
- Must be authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or similar systems
- Background in mining, drilling, or heavy industry
- Knowledge of field operations or project coordination
- Experience in data entry, reporting, or administrative support roles
- Experience analyzing financial or operational data
