Construction Wireman
Our client is currently seeking Construction Wiremen for immediate openings in Davenport, IA.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting journey-level electricians with the installation of light fixtures
- Performing material handling on the jobsite
- Installing and bending conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders
- Perform wire and cable pulls
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the construction or electrical industry is not required
- Familiarity with electrical tools and machinery
- Reliable transportation to get to the construction site and from job to job
- Regular attendance, timeliness when given tasks and arrive to work on time – Required
- Ability to follow safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and wear PPE (Safety gear) on site
- Desire to learn in a hands on environment with awareness of other jobsite activities
- Attention to detail, and ability to follow instruction
