HR Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development: Manage and provide guidance to two HR
Generalists, ensuring their professional development and performance
management. Conduct regular one-on-ones to provide coaching, feedback, and
ensure successful execution of HR initiatives.
Talent Management & Recruitment: Oversee recruitment efforts, including job
posting, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. Collaborate with
department leaders to understand staffing needs and build talent pipelines.
Compliance & Policy Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR
regulations and laws, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local
requirements. Update and communicate company policies and procedures as
needed.
Employee Relations: Act as the point of contact for employee concerns,
providing resolution and support. Foster a positive work environment by
addressing conflicts, promoting effective communication, and driving
engagement.
Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs to employees,
including leadership development, compliance training, and skills enhancement.
Support career growth and succession planning within the organization.
Performance Management: Lead the performance management process,
including goal-setting, feedback sessions, and performance reviews. Ensure
alignment with company objectives and employee development.
HR Strategy & Reporting: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop HR
strategies that support business goals. Provide regular HR metrics and reporting
to track key performance indicators such as turnover rates, engagement levels,
and other relevant data. Implement and enforce consistency in employee
standards and procedures by using and improving existing HR policies,
procedures, and programs.
Assist in all other functional areas of human resources as needed and directed
by management.
Required Education and Experience:
The minimum education required for this position is Bachelor’s degree in Human
Resources, Psychology, Business, or equivalent.
The minimum related experience required for this position is typically 5 to 7 years
of experience of progressive and relevant work experience in Human
Resources. Previous Human Resources experience in an industrial environment
is preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
Proficient with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization’s HR software such
as ADP Workforcenow, Jobvite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
Must have strong Microsoft suite experience.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit for periods of time.
Must be able to walk around an industrial environment with exposure to various
elements found in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.
Work Environment:
The environment is typically a general office, though the incumbent will be
expected to spend periods of time in the manufacturing environments with
exposure including but not limited to dust, dirt, high noise levels, and temperature
variations. Frequent exposure to manufacturing conditions and ambient
conditions 30% to 40% of the time.
