Mobile Mechanic – Heavy Equipment

📍 Ocala, FL

We are hiring a Mobile Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment (haul trucks, loaders, dozers, etc.)
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Complete work orders and document repairs (SAP or similar)
• Inspect equipment and ensure safe operation
• Order parts and support maintenance scheduling

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of heavy equipment/diesel mechanic experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills (diesel, hydraulics, electrical)
• Welding and mechanical repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, and on-call

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 75+ lbs
• Work in outdoor, industrial environments
• Comfortable with heights and confined spaces

Preferred:

• 5+ years experience
• Technical training or certifications
