Senior Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
Position Overview
Turner Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor – Electrical Maintenance to support operations at a large mining and processing facility near Tucson, Arizona. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical maintenance operations through first-line supervisors while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production support.
Work Location
The position is based at a mining operation located approximately 20 miles from Tucson, AZ.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, and control the safe and efficient operation of assigned electrical maintenance work units

Directly oversee first-line and shift supervisors

Ensure continued production support by executing maintenance plans and schedules

Provide operational input for maintenance and production planning activities

Enforce compliance with safety standards, operating procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations

Inspect assigned work areas to confirm schedules, objectives, and performance targets are met

Coordinate daily with cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and other support groups

Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues related to equipment, materials, methods, and procedures

Support budget preparation, monitoring, and cost control efforts

Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, OR

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or mining-related discipline and three (3) years of operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience

Additional certifications or licenses relevant to the role may be required

Strong knowledge of supervisory methods and leadership practices

Proven ability to manage safety, recognize hazards, and enforce safe work practices

Experience resolving operational challenges involving equipment, materials, and procedures

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and safety procedures in English

Ability to communicate effectively in English regarding job assignments and safety standards

Willingness to work in a fast-paced and potentially high-stress environment

Work is performed in a mine or industrial plant setting with exposure to temperature extremes, humidity, moving machinery, electrical hazards, chemicals, fumes, dust, and noise

Regularly required to stand, sit, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, and demonstrate manual dexterity

Occasional lifting of materials up to 30 pounds

Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety footwear, gloves, and other PPE as required
